28 days of discipline

Week 4 Day 6 of the reading guide

T

here are different ways to transfer Level B growth to a practical training plan that fits your own situation. In the long run, the most effective way is to get involved in a Mutual Mentoring relationship in the areas of both your native style and your opposite style. On page 182 we will discuss what this looks like practically.

I assume that, over time, quite a number of Christians will get involved in this kind of process. NCD International will do everything possible to further these activities, especially through the Trinitarian Monastery. However, I recognize that only a relatively small percentage of those who read this book will get involved in a process of Mutual Mentoring. For many, this kind of learning is simply too unfamiliar to start with straight away. I expect that five years from now the situation will be quite different. By that time, it will be far more natural to speak with someone from your opposite style, either in person, or on the other side of the world, via video conferencing. But we haven’t quite reached that point yet.
