The essence of Level A growth

ake a look at the graphic. Level A growth describes the process that takes place as you move from Level 0 (you don‘t know your spiritual style or you are living in contradiction to that style) to Level A (you are living and growing within your style). Once you are secure in your spiritual style, the growth process continues toward Level B (you are interacting with your opposite style); but this can and should only happen once you are sure that living on Level A has become natural for you.

Especially for believers who have lived in the “wrong” spiritual style all of their lives, reaching Level A can be an overwhelming experience. They may even interpret it as “transformation;” however, on closer observation, it isn‘t. They have merely discovered what has always been within them, but what they could not live out—for whatever reasons. Level A is better understood as an experience of “intensification” rather than of transformation.

The focus of Level A growth is on the growth process represented by the left arrow: from Level 0 (childhood) to Level A (adolescence). That is a precondition for Level B growth, which is represented in the cycle between boxes A and B.

Do you feel confident and secure in your native spiritual style? If not, how will you seek out and spend time with others who share your style?
