What if, for a season of time, your whole church were to unite on a unique spiritual pilgrimage... a path by which every person came to see God with greater clarity and came to see each other with new eyes... a journey on which spiritual superiority gave way to spiritual styles, unique starting points and maturity... an ongoing adventure fueled by the release of God‘s grace in ways previously restricted or unknown... Would that be a worthwhile passage of time in the life of your church?

A church-wide pilgrimage involves the small groups of your church working through The 3 Colors of Your Spirituality guided by Part 1 of How to Embrace The 3 Colors of Your Spirituality in Your World as well as worship services during that time focused on the weekly themes. In the middle of the pilgrimage, your church‘s collective Spiritual Style Test result will be revealed. To go through the following outline, the whole journey takes six weeks.

Week 0: Dedication Gatherings

• Small groups

Week 1: Pursuing the true, the good, and the beautiful

• Worship service (atmosphere of anticipation)
• followed by small group gatherings during the week

Week 2: Discovering where darkness has no power

• Worship service (atmosphere of repentance)
• followed by small group gatherings during the week (including completion of the Spiritual Style Test)

Week 3: Your divine connection

• Worship service (presentation of church‘s spiritual style results)
• followed by small group gatherings during the week

Week 4: Attaining to the fullness of Christ

• Worship service (atmosphere of commitment)
• followed by small group gatherings during the week

Week 5: Transforming your world

• Worship service (atmosphere of celebration)
• followed by final small group gatherings during the week

Below you will find a downloadable pilgrimage date calculator into which you can enter your preferred Week 1 worship service date and determine when a Church-wide Pilgrimage would best fit into your calendar.

Optional teams and activities

The How to Embrace The 3 Colors of Your Spirituality in Your World leader's guide also contains a code you can enter on this web site in order to access all of the various Church-wide Pilgrimage downloads you will need for your journey. Also available on that downloads page are suggestions for optional teams or activities (e.g. a Pilgrims' Feast, Scribe Team (news team), etc.) These are not essential for running your church-wide pilgrimage. However, if you have people gifted in those areas, it would be worthwhile giving them the outlines as a way of enhancing the church-wide experience.
