A couple of weeks ago I completed the 3 Colors of Ministry Test and the results came up as Evangelism as top manifest and Suffering as top latent. Proceeding this I read 2 Timothy 4:5 which related very much to these results and to other aspects in my life.
It said: "...you should keep a clear mind in every situation..." This is something I never do well, being emotional frequently often means that I do not always make the best decisions.
"...Don't be afraid of suffering for the Lord..." This relates to my top latent gift and it encouraged me to pursue it some more.
"...Work at bringing others to Christ..." I love this part. It shows that although I have already displayed signs of the gift evangelism, God is pushing me to not just sit back and use this gift, but rather to WORK at it, be mindful of it, keep moving forward with it and dont give up on the unsaved people in my life.
And finally, "...Complete the ministry God has given you." This one was the truthful love that hurts sometimes. This related to my lack of Faithfulness and God was saying "I want you to finish what you have started and don't give up."
I can see (have tested) that this verse was particularly meant for me because God spoke not only words of encouragement, but aso those lovely pruning words which can stretch me to be a more balanced person. It is very exciting when God speaks to us through His word... Get into it!
