Reflections

I can particularly relate to the David/Goliath analogy. Having been to a few art galleries and exhibitions in Australia and also being at uni with other art students , I have come to see what an impressive looking monster the secular art world is. There are so many opinions, theories and judgements on...well anything really, but namely, race, gender, politics, spirituality, sexuality and psychology. When the rest of your peers and most other 'successful' artists circulate around these themes, it can make any hope of Christian Artists rising up and becoming vessels and lights for the world through creativity, quite, quite slim. Reading about David and Goliath through new glasses has encouraged me a lot. it makes so much sense! on a practical side...when i got up to this part in the book, i was keen to keep on reading, but it is so exhausting because of all the info on each page!
