Explore the contacts and influence of your existing customers

Most pastors and churches have contact with other pastors and churches. If you are already working with churches, then you are only a few steps away from possibly working with a number of their contacts.

Of course, it is very important that the initial church you are working with has a fruitful experience with NCD and feels supported by you through the process. Once you have built a relationship of trust and respect with the initial church, it is worth asking them some questions about their other contacts. Those questions may include:

  • Which pastors or churches do you know of that might also benefit from the NCD process?
  • Based on your knowledge of them, in what ways do you think NCD would be beneficial to them?
  • What do you think might prevent them from engaging with NCD?
  • Would you (the initial pastor or leader you are already working with) feel comfortable speaking with them about NCD? If so, how could I help?
  • Do you think I should make contact with them to talk about NCD? If so, are you happy for me to say you suggested I contact them?

Apart from possibly making contact with additional churches, this discussion will also help you find out more about what the church you are already working with really thinks about NCD and how you might better serve them.
