Perceive

Exhaling is Usually The Problem

This whole exhaling / inhaling thing has been a bit of a revelation.

My starting point is on the green blue side of the trinitarian compass and with church life. A percieving detached believer who lacks faithfulness and self control, but is totally big on the peace and goodness.

Liebe wahrnehmen: "Was sehen Sie?"

Thoughts and Questions:

Perceiving love: "What do you see?"

Thoughts and Questions:

Depending on how the previous stages of the cycle have gone, your experience of growing in love will resemble anything from a beautiful, nourishing display of fresh fruit, through to a horrific crime scene, or anything in between. Either way, the Perceive stage asks with an intense curiosity, "What do you see?” This is where the inhale side of the cycle moves from taking love (or the absence of it) to heart, to taking it into your head and allowing it to begin transforming your mind (Romans 12:2).

Song Selection Criteria

Questions to ask before you introduce a new song to your church

Our Campaign worship cycle team met last Sunday and as a result of us testing our perceptions with one another, we realised that one of the greatest barriers to music helping people to worship God, was the 'singability' of the song. I chose a worship song that Sunday which had great lyrics and a fantastic melody, it was just too high - the key needed to be changed.
