I'm one of those strange ones: Having grown up a Pentecostal and ministering wholeheartedly as a Pentecostal pastor, my style is rational, with a tendency towards doctrinal. The result of the test didn't really surprise me, but I'm amazed by how much I find myself in the description of the rational style.
I am rational, and focusing on my own style for 28 days... I am thinking about what the book says on pg 97 (rational style), only when explanations are sufficient, does faith have a solid ground. Last week I started reading Matthew for the first time with a small group that has also read 3 Colors. Matthew starts out very rationally and it is helping me with my quest to "know" Jesus. I need to know the details and facts for it all to make sense in my mind...

The understand stage should not be mistaken as a passive inhaling of information. It is a breathing out of what you believe the facts are right now beyond reasonable doubt. "I'm not convinced that my second strongest fruit is goodness, but I would agree beyond reasonable doubt that my highest fruit is patience and my lowest fruit is self-control!”

Hey everybody I was reading the other day in 1 john 5:3 "Loving God means keeping his commandments, and really, that isn't difficult.” When I first read this I thought, "what the heck was this guy smoking.”
But as I started to write what I was thinking God showed me a deeper understanding of how we are supposed to grow. It kind of relates to stewardship of the love that we are able to show. "Keeping His commandments” can be summed up in showing love to God and people, in a full expression and replicating all the facets of His perfect love. (Matt 22:37-39)
