What spiritual color is The Message Bible?

Peterson, is my favorite bible for several years by now. Even though I am German I prefer it to all German translations I know. (I have read 6 German translations completely so far.)

Der erste Grund ist, dass meine Kinder sicher in ihren Betten liegen und mich nicht unterbrechen können. Aber wieso mag ich es hier raus zukommen. Daran möchte ich dich ein bisschen teilhaben lassen.

The first reason is that my children are tucked safely in their beds and are unable to interrupt me. But why is it I like to come out here. I'd like to share a bit about that.

While in Protestant circles striving for the True and Good are relatively undis- puted value systems, many Protestants, and especially Evangelicals, have diffi- culty with the third category: striving for the Beautiful. For historical reasons, all that is pictorial, symbolic, ritual, and sacramental has been banned from many churches, since their founders had only seen excessive abuse in these areas.
